Good news for jaibreakers! A hacker named p0sixninja recently announced that he was able to jailbreak the next version of the iPhone, the iPhone 5.

Indeed, he and his team would have five userland exploits on the A5 processor powering Apple iPad 2 currently and certainly the iPhone 5 to come.

For those who do not know, jailbreaking an iPhone is simply to download illegally, applications available on the Appstore, access to special applications available on the Cydia Store and other interesting features, such as unlocking the SIM card, to use the iPhone with any operator.

All that to say that the jailbreak of the iPhone 5 will be present some time after the release of the iPhone 5.
